The Moroccan SMEs Observatory, represented by its Executive Director Dr. Idrissi Amal, had the honor of participating in the ARFIPI Expert Group meeting held in Casablanca, co-organized by Bank Al-Maghrib and the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI).
During the session on “Assessing Financial Inclusion Needs of WMSMEs: The Role of Disaggregated Data,” Dr. Idrissi engaged with regional peers to explore innovative approaches to identifying gender-based gaps in access to finance. Her contribution underscored the critical role of disaggregated data in shaping inclusive and evidence-based financial policies.
This participation reaffirms the Observatory’s strong commitment to advancing financial inclusion, particularly for women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (WMSMEs), while fostering impactful regional collaboration.
