A new annual report covering the years 2020 and 2021 has been published by the Moroccan MSME's Observatory. To better understand the demographic, economic, and financial state of businesses during the Covid-19 epidemic, this report includes a series of indicators and analyses.
Indicators for self-employed people and the findings of a study on women-led businesses are included in this third edition of the report, which also contains a chapter on labor market trends in this unusual setting.
Nonetheless, the Moroccan MSME's Observatory has participated in studies and cooperative projects on issues related to the situation of this category of enterprises in response to requests from a variety of national, regional, and international institutions.
The report also includes a status update on the Observatory's Strategic Plan 2021-2023, showing the Observatory's ability to rely on data science approaches to enhance data consumption and analysis, as well as its expertise's and its ability to mobilize technological tools to improve its processes of exploitation and analysis of data.
