Taking a significant step towards regional collaboration and knowledge exchange, the TPME Moroccan Observatory actively participated in the 3rd annual conference of the Regional Research Network (NRN) held in Rabat on September 14, 2023.
Co-organized by Bank Al-Maghrib and The World Bank, this flagship event for the MENA region centered around the theme "Labor Markets and Structural Transformation," addressing critical challenges posed by economic and structural shifts in the Middle East and North Africa.
High-profile representatives from national and international institutions, academia, and the private sector converged to deliberate on a spectrum of vital topics. These encompassed navigating the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, strategies to combat climate change, harnessing digital transformation, managing geopolitical tensions, addressing protectionism, enhancing human capital quality, and fostering private sector development.
The RRN, dedicated to fostering constructive exchanges, underscores the pivotal role of research in shaping policies. The focus remains on exploring key economic and labor market challenges in the MENA region.
