On Thursday, May 11th, 2023, Dr. Haitham Barhoune, economist at the Moroccan Observatory of SMEs, took part in the workshop on new paradigms and priority themes for economic recovery in Morocco, organized by GIZ Morocco in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The subgroup discussions, involving actors from the public and private sectors, international organizations, civil society, and researchers, following the Chatham House rules, focused on employment promotion, investment and business environment, entrepreneurship, and access to financing.
The outcome aims to improve the direction of work towards sustainable economic development and enrich the reflection on economic recovery in Morocco.
