The Moroccan SMEs Observatory recently published the 2nd edition of its annual report. In this new edition, the Observatory has compiled a database of 572,000 active companies based on information provided by DGI, CNSS, OMPIC and Bank Al-Maghrib.
Invited to the Friday edition of Info Soir, Amal Idrissi, executive director of Moroccan SMEs Observatory, stressed that the report highlights many findings such as the fragmentation of the productive fabric.
"We have 99.8% of companies that are MSMEs, 84% have a turnover that does not reach the million dirhams and we have a productive fabric that is very concentrated both on the sectoral and regional level since 57% of companies are concentrated on the axis El Jadida-Tangier,” said Amal Idrissi. Video.
